This wine is explosive. It’s packed full of exotic tropical fruit like papaya and banana. Its touch of sweetness cloaks a powerful streak of acidity that works almost like a net, keeping all of those flavors from seeming bawdy and overdone. I’m salivating a little just writing this.

Another huge bargain from Germany. For less than 25 bucks, you’re getting a wine that’ll destroy any misconceptions you may have about German whites. It’ll do it now, or in 6 to 8 years. Either way, this is a serious bottle of wine.

This, people, is super-Riesling. Drink it now and it’s an explosion of flavor – a vanilla and clove laced tarte tatin. Cellar it for 10 years and it’ll be so good you won’t know what to do with yourself.

$40.99/Bottle
